Personal information
Bio
I am an educator and parent, and approach working with each child the way I would hope my own children would be taught. This is to say, I want students to feel a sense of belonging, a clear understanding of the goals of our work together, and a pride in their progress. I am a responsive educator, who makes connections with my students, and believes deeply that every child should be taught from a research-backed approach. While I cherish sharing joy with students, I also prioritize setting students up for success in their learning journeys. I provide scaffolding and share resources with students, and take steps to ensure students feel independent and autonomous.
