MS, I earned a Master's in Hispanic Cultural Studies from Columbia University. The program allowed me a glimpse into the experience of being a PhD student because all of the other students in the program were pursuing doctoral degrees. Among other topics, I learned about Spanish linguistics and the history of the book in the medieval era in Spain.

Education
Masters Degree
After completing my Master's at Columbia, I decided I wanted to pursue a career in education because I wanted to inspire students to learn Spanish in the same way that my Spanish teachers inspired me when I was learning Spanish in school. I earned a Master's degree in Secondary Spanish Education (Grades 7-12) from City College, where I learned how to write effective lesson plans and had real-world experience student teaching at several New York public high schools.
