Bio
¡Hola! I am so excited to connect with you on this platform. A quick intro: I have nearly a decade of experience teaching Spanish to Middle School students (Levels I-II) at two of the top private schools in Los Angeles. I've also been tutoring on the side for even longer. Learning a second language can be an intimidating experience. My goal is to spark confidence in each of my students. What follows is my favorite part of the learning process because when a student is sure of oneself, the sky really is the limit. Watching a student go from feeling defeated to being able to effectively communicate in Spanish is what makes me love my job. In addition to my career as an educator, I have more than a decade of experience as a tv producer on both coasts: I spent nearly 7 years at CNN, hold a B.S. in Spanish from Georgetown University and an M.A. in Journalism from USC. I hope we can work together! ¡Hasta pronto!
