I am Certified Academic Language Therapist and a Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist. I have my Bachelor in Elementary Education and a Masters of Education as a Reading Specialist from Emporia State University. I have taught several grades throughout my 17 years of teaching experience including, Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade. I was also an Intervention Specialist and focused on individual and small group reading instruction. Aside from working in a district setting, I also enjoyed working as an adjunct professor through Newman University, a parent/child advocate, and a Dyslexia Therapist for many students throughout my career.
