Personal information
Bio
I have been teaching freshmen English for 10 years. I have taught honors and also inclusion classes which include both general education and special education students. Currently, I am a special education teacher for freshmen students. I push in to all classrooms, and I also have a resource classroom where I support those students. I write IEPs, and I also am involved in IEP meetings. I have served as a sponsor for clubs and activities as well. I have held the position of Lead English teacher now for 4 years where I have enjoyed being the liaison for English teachers and administration. I absolutely love building relationships with students and helping them succeed inside and outside of school. I pride myself on making sure that every student is heard and understood. I always make sure that my students feel safe and cared for in my classroom.
