Hi! My name is Andrew Taylor— to my students I go by Mr. Taylor/Mr. T 😎! I am an educator with over 8 years of teaching experience, specializing in English Language Arts and Reading. I began my teaching journey in Texas. After 3 years of teaching out there, I moved to New York City in 2021 where I continued teaching for a few schools within the NYCDOE. One of the most rewarding parts about being an educator is simply helping, or introducing, students to a way of thinking that helps them to achieve their learning goals. I believe learning starts with how much we believe in our own capabilities. Sometimes students need that extra push and I’m grateful to be in a position to help them get there!
