I am a math teacher and tutor from a small town in Upstate NY. I completed my B.A. in Mathematics with a minor in Adolescent Education in 2016 at Utica College. Following that, I earned my Master's in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University in 2018. I am certified in NYS to teach grades 5-12 Math. I have 8+ years of classroom teaching experience in middle school math and Algebra 1. Additionally, I have been an online tutor for 4+ years in a variety of math subjects, including middle school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and Geometry. I also have extensive experience teaching and tutoring state exams, such as the Algebra I and Geometry Regents exams and grades 6-8 state tests. I love math and find a sense of purpose in sharing my appreciation for the field with my students. My goal is to show my students that there is no such thing as a "math person". With practice and support, anyone can learn math!
