I've spent my career in the education field working as a teacher, curriculum developer, product director and coach. These experiences have given me unique perspectives on the best methods of teaching as well as the best content delivery mechanisms. I'm currently teaching 7th and 8th grade Math/Science which I enjoy immensely because the subject matter is engaging to teach. At this age in Science class you get to start with more complex experiments and you're setting the stage for Algebra in math so it's fun to see students have those light bulb moments. As part of my role, I work extended days after school with our early education students ranging from Kindergarten to 6th grade. This involves helping with their homework across a range of subject areas. I've also taught Kindergarten students in Korea which involved teaching all subject in an English immersion style. This required me to get a TESOL certification. Finally I've trained adults in software development practices as well as built English language learning products.
