Bio
Instructor of Math and Physics for over 20 years. I live in New York City where I am currently at Horace Mann School, but will be moving to the Avenues School to teach and teach their upper school mathematics research program for the school's most mathematically gifted and advanced students. I have also coached the math team at every school I've worked for. I have a BS in Mathematics, an MA in Applied Math from UCLA, an MA In Teaching Secondary School Mathematics from USC, and I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Math Education (Curriculum and Instruction). I am experienced in working with all levels of math and all methods of teaching, such as direct instruction, project-based, and problem-based learning classes.
