Hello, and welcome to my tutoring page! I have been a licensed K-8 teacher for more than ten years and have taught virtually for over six years. I have my Master's of Education in Learning and Technology and a bachelor's degree in K-8 Education. I am a nationally certified virtual educator as well. Utilizing technology tools for learning is my jam! I have so many great resources to use during tutoring sessions. I know how important it is to make virtual learning interactive, and fun to ensure students are engaged and focused. My lessons and energy level are adapted to meet every student's needs and ensure they are engaged with the content. I love making personal connections with my students too. It is so rewarding to see students grow and feel excited about their learning. It brings me great joy to see my students grow their confidence in themselves and in their learning. I have several years of experience teaching English Language Learners of all ages as well. One of my most cherished experiences was teaching in Lesotho, Africa with the Peace Corps for nearly three years. I am also a yoga teacher, world traveler (I've been to 18 countries), rock climber, and kitten foster mom.
