Bio
Ms. Horshaw has been an educator intermittently for over 16 years, having taught K-6 in various subjects. She specializes in working with special education students and has worked in private and public school settings. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Coppin State University, and held a conditional certification in Elementary Special Education. Ms. Horshaw loves implementing creative strategies and individualized lesson plans that help students enjoy learning while staying engaged. Ms. Horshaw has also served as a tutor for 3 years and her current full time position specializes in Reading. Her students always excel their ELA goals, in which ELA is her passion!
