I've been an educator for 10+ years and my background is in science, but I'm also passionate about literature, mindfulness, and health and wellness. I taught yoga for 5 years before becoming a NYC public school teacher. After 8 years in the classroom, I'm currently a graduate student completing the last year of my Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling degree. I believe in a person-centered approach and care deeply about leading individuals and groups toward their goals, teaching effective communication, and creating a structured, compassionate environment.
