I have been a general education teacher since 1987 and acquired my Education Specialist credential in 2015. Since getting my special education credential, I have worked with students as young as Kindergarten all the way to college age students. My forte is in ELA, but I am very comfortable teaching elementary math. In 2016 I decided to work strictly in a tutoring capacity. It has been beyond rewarding as I am able to give my students the one-on-one attention that they so desperately need. Once covid hit, I became very adept at teaching remotely. Building rapport is so important. Once rapport is built, everything else falls into place.
