I am an experienced teacher with a passion for seeing my students thrive. I have a bachelor’s degree in social studies, a master’s degree in Reading and a Doctoral degree in Special Education. I am certified in the state of Florida to teach Reading, Social Studies, ESOL and Special Education. I worked in the Florida public school system, both online and in the classroom, for over 20 years, since 2002, and I have helped shape the minds of hundreds of students at the elementary and middle school levels. But my expertise goes beyond the traditional classroom. I lived and worked in Italy from 1987 to 2001, where I taught English to adult learners. As a tutor I am committed to offering my students academic excellence and personalized instruction that focuses on the student’s particular needs. My classes are a dynamic and interactive experience that cater to different learning styles making it easy to grasp and retain information.
