BS, English- Emphasis in Creative Writing & Minor in Biblical Studies
Others describe me as high-energy and passionate. My natural enthusiasm for life carries over effortlessly as an educator! I have a background in English, literature, and creative writing and have sixteen years experience teaching neurodivergent and neurotypical learners across a variety of subjects. My goal is to present material in a way that is accessible and exciting, to build genuine student confidence and help create a lifelong love of learning. My approach is fun, engaging, and provides quantifiable growth.
I’ve homeschooled my own children for ten years and live for the “aha moments.” Beyond leading homeschool co-op groups, book clubs, and tutoring, I also serve as a home educator mentor, helping home educators develop student success using a customized, learner-centered approach. I specialize in breaking down language arts and math-related concepts for neurodivergent learners.
In my spare time, I enjoy having fun with my family, reading with my kids, listening to audiobooks, writing, natural health, and helping others. I also am a part-time lecturer and speak around the country on home education, neurodivergence, and natural health-related topics.
If you are ready to develop as a reader, a writer, or a mathlete, I’d love to work with you!
