Daysi Perez Mendez recieved her bachelor’s of Science degree in Bilingual Childhood Education at the City College of New York. She has a concentration in literature and literacy. She is a substitute teacher working for the New York City Department of Education. She has five years of experience working as a tutor, both in person and virtually. Her approach to teaching is the belief that every student is capable of learning, with the correct tools and environment. She is committed to creating a space where students are respected and learn in a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
