Hello! I'm Diane, a recent graduate of Columbia University, where I earned my master's degree in International Affairs. I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Fordham University, and I was honored with the Dean's Award for maintaining a GPA above 3.6.
Currently residing in New York City, I am a currently part-time remote fellow for a strategic national security consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Alongside my academic pursuits, I have consistently engaged in tutoring for seven years. In 2016, I was a teacher's assistant for a 2nd-grade class and later as an after-school tutor for 3rd and 4th graders at P.S. 051 The Elias Howe School. Later, I engaged in private 1:1 and small group tutoring lessons for elementary school and middle school students both in-person and remote.
My passion for tutoring began in high school, where I volunteered as a writing, math, and global studies tutor for my peers and lower-grade students. I graduated high school with an advanced regents diploma and was Salutatorian. I have a particular affinity for writing, history, and math. Over the years, I've gained experience tutoring children aged 2 to 18.
I am enthusiastic about offering my assistance and would be delighted to help! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Diane
