Bio
My name is Dina Bastoros. I am a Certified Mathematics Teacher for grades 6-12, holding a Florida professional Certificate. I have 15 years of experience teaching mathematics across various levels, including Middle School Algebra, Geometry, 6 grade GYMs, and advanced classes. I've taught at an Engineering University in Egypt for 3 years and at a high school in Dubai for 7 years. I also spent 3 years teaching middle school at Teague Middle School in Florida. Currently, I'm in my fourth year teaching at Seminole High School, where I teach the IB program, and I've been an employee in Seminole County Public Schools for eight years. During COVID-19, I gained valuable experience in online teaching, utilizing platforms like Webex and Zoom to engage students, and managing online assignments and grading through Canvas. I love helping students engage in learning, and that's why I enjoy working in groups. I'm passionate about making math enjoyable and understandable for all my students.
