I use a variety of materials resulting in creative, engaging, and interactive enthusiastic learning. Dorothy has been teaching in public schools for over 25 years. She loves teaching all subjects, but Reading is her favorite! She loves to watch kids become independent readers. Great reading skills will take you everywhere you want to go! Dorothy knows that each of us is an individual, and we all learn differently, so she loves to help each student learn the best way they can. Dorothy has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, as well as a master’s degree in English as a Second Language. Dorothy has also worked extensively as a tutor, both online and in person. She loves to be outdoors, and you can often find her riding a bike, hiking on nearby trails, or traveling with family. Dorothy loves learning more about the world and she enjoys sharing that enthusiasm for learning with students. She looks forward to meeting and working with students in this online space.
