Hello! My name is Elena. I am a firm believer that education is one of the greatest tools to succeed in life. I enjoy learning something new every day, and I constantly get educated to enhance my tool box of knowledge. In 2013, I graduated from University of Houston with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. I have dedicated my life to teach various subjects from Kinder to 12th grade. In 2013, I began to teach in public school setting with special education, intervention, core courses, french and Spanish. In 2014, I taught in a private Montessori school to children ages 3 to 6 years old. In 2018, I transitioned to business administration, mortgage lending and the real estate world. Even though I enjoyed my new journey; I always had the need to teach. In 2021, I took part time jobs as a substitute teacher for Austin ISD, and I also taught english abroad to children in China, ages 3 to 6 years old. I am fluent speaker and writer in english and spanish. I also speak french at an intermediate level. I enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with others. I have a passion for teaching.
