Bio
Hello! I'm Eliza! I have lived in Brooklyn all my life and am so proud of it. I am recent graduate of Vassar College, where I studied political science with a special focus on political ecology. While in college, I began working as a supplemental educator within an elementary school classroom, facilitating an inquiry-based climate change curriculum. Having discovered a love for learning, I went on to become a tutor with EduMate NYC, leading 1:1 ELA lessons with 1st-4th graders, and later worked as an educator for elementary and middle school students at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Currently, I spend my time working as a researcher on a documentary film and writing comedy with my sketch group. I am a big fan of storytelling and think there is a place for it at every step of one's education!
