Hi there! My name is Liz Kelly and I have been a Special Education teacher for 9 years. Currently, I work for Hospital Schools, which is part of the NYC Department of Education. Hospital Schools offer school to children during their hospitalizations at hospitals throughout the 5 boroughs. Prior to working for Hospital Schools, I worked as a Head Teacher in a 1st grade classroom for children on the autism spectrum and co- taught in a 2nd/3rd grade classroom. I love the profession I chose and I believe it is a true gift to be able to teach children of all ages and abilities. My goal is for all of my students to feel welcomed, safe, and nurtured. In turn, I hope they are able to let their light shine as they embark on their educational journey!
