Hey y'all! I'm Emma, and I'm a licensed social worker with over 10 years of tutoring experience. I graduated from the University of North Carolina with my BA in Political Science, History, and Women's and Gender Studies, and earned my Master's of Social Work from New York University. I've tutored middle and high school students in a variety of subjects since 2013. I love seeing students develop confidence, understand their strengths, and grow to enjoy learning. I believe tutoring and supporting students should always come from a strengths based perspective and that students learn best when they feel support and understood throughout the experience. I'm trained in multiple therapeutic modalities and customize my implementation for each student because no two students are alike.
