Personal information
Bio
I recently completed my sixteenth year as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at a rural Pennsylvanian Junior/Senior High School where I've taught a plethora of classes in grades 7-12. Within this same time frame, I have earned my Master's Degree in Educational Development and Strategies and obtained an evening job at PLS 3rd Learning facilitating online PD courses for other educators in the state of Pennsylvania.
Teaching mathematics is a true passion for me, and I believe that the key for student success is the relationships between the teacher and student. I enjoy getting to know the students and vise versa. Building this type of rapport based on mutual trust and respect allows us to have a true conversation about their learning styles, preferences, and struggles.
