Hello! I am a teacher-turned-tutor who focuses on academic confidence and foundational skills for learner success. I believe that every learner is a reader. Likewise, every learner has a math brain! I work with a range of ages, from second through eighth grade. I work with students who are schooled publicly and at home. No matter the setting, I look forward to sharing lightbulb moments with you! Education Background: I have taught in the Sonoma Valley of California and the Redwoods of far northern California - my hometown - for the last ten years. I have taught reading intervention and math intervention to elementary students. I taught algebra to middle school students during summer school. I have worked with English learners, students with Individual Education Plans, and state university student teachers. All of that is to say teaching is something I love to do. I hold an elementary teaching credential and a master's in Education Leadership. I am working on a second master's in Education Technology and Instructional Design. Interests: I spend my free time with my three children. We love to ride scooters on the weekends, do creative projects at home, cook together in the kitchen, and all things open-ended play. All the best! - Gabrielle
