I began my career as a high school English teacher. I later taught in K-6 and community college. I have an Ed.D. in urban teacher education and a Ph.D. in English with a specialization in linguistics. Currently, I train teachers in a teacher preparation program and teach courses in literacy and reading. I love teaching, but I do miss working with younger students. Tutoring would be a great way to connect with younger students again.
