I am a high school social studies teacher. I specifically teach global history to freshman but have a masters in history so I am comfortable in all subject areas. I am Dominican American and have experience teaching academic historical content to Spanish speaking students. I love motivating students to become active members of their communities. The knowledge of history allows us to understand what is going on in our world. While historical content is fundamental, I do push students to think critically and make creative connections between the places and time periods that we learn about.
