Teaching is not only what I do, it is at the heart of who I am. It is my belief that children must learn discipline, social skills, responsibility and self-worth in order to accomplish their goals and succeed in life. While planning lessons, I try to create situations that will incorporate these messages along with the teaching of facts, skills and concepts. I place great importance on combining new approaches with proven techniques in order to produce a balanced literacy learning environment.
