With nearly 30 years of experience teaching Spanish and working with bilingual learners, I bring a deep understanding of how children acquire language and build confidence. I hold a Master’s in Second Language Acquisition and Pedagogy and have taught in both the U.S. and Mexico. I'm also the author of several Spanish readers used in classrooms around the world. What I love most about tutoring is seeing confidence click into place. As a parent who has raised a bilingual and bicultural child, I deeply understand that being bilingual is a superpower. I lean into that strength to help students feel supported and capable. I specialize in working with bilingual Spanish-English elementary students, guiding them as they gain skills in reading, writing, and math. Watching them grow and believe in themselves is the most rewarding part of my job.
