Hi! My name is Irena. I love to read and write. I love it so much that it is my favorite subject to teach. have been an elementary school teacher for 5 years in New York City. I have taught grades from Pre School to 5th Grade in both public school and private. I have been a tutor for the past 5 years supporting students from Kindergarten to 8th Grade in literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies. One of the best moments and feelings while doing what I love is seeing students who thought they couldn't do something glow with confidence when they achieve their goals and the mindset that they are capable of learning anything.
