My unique career as an educator includes more than a decade developing and delivering educational programming for professional theater companies, several years of SAT/ACT tutoring, and six years and counting as a classroom English teacher (grades 6-8) in a college preparatory school. I've worked with all kinds of students in grades 3+ and am a calm, easy-going teacher who loves plenty of humor. I try to constantly keep up with new research and creative best practices in my field, looking for the best ways to make reading and writing come to life for my students.
