Good day and I hope this message finds you well! My name is Jaylyn Williams and I am currently a 6th grade science teacher in Washington DC. With four full years of teaching under my belt, I can say confidently that I am good at what I do. I love to figure out how each of my student's brains work to give them the appropriate access point to the material. Along with my love of teaching, I am passionate about the subjects I engage with and hope to intensify your student's love of learning. I tutored my fellow classmates in our chemistry classes in college so I am able to tutor older students as well. The most important thing to know about my philosophy as a tutor is this: Every student's brain and learning style is different and it is my job to figure out the best way for students to access the material. I am also a tutor who believes in teaching skills that are transferrable across all contents.
