I started my career as a teacher who taught K-12 for 12 years. I taught in NY, NJ and KY. When I began to start a family, I stepped back from teaching and later began a career in Real Estate which I have been doing for over 25 years. Last year I decided to jump back into teaching because I wanted to give back, make a difference and help students at risk. I took a long term position at a Charter School in Harlem which lasted the entire school year and into this year as well. It was incredibly rewarding and challenging at the same time. I feel I made an impact on many students lives while they in turn enriched mine. I am interested in continuing to do the same with tutoring at Braintrust Tutors and look forward to the opportunity to help students be academically confident, show them tools to achieve that and do their best.
