I am a 5th grade special education and reding interventionist teacher for grades 5-8. This coming school year I will be a full time reading interventionist. I have my special education license for grades K-12, elementary education license for grades 1-9, reading teacher license, Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner (Wilson Level 1 certification), currently working on Wilson Dyslexia Therapist (Wilson level 2 certification), and a Lexia LETRS grant cohort recipient. I will be completing the LETRS program next spring. I am a believer is building relationships with my students and their families first and foremost. Open dialogue and communication regarding struggles and accomplishments is essential. Everybody deserves the opportunity to learn to read.
