Hi Families! I love my job working with my students as an elementary school teacher. I have experience teaching in kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education. Following graduation, I began working as a public school teacher in a 1st grade class in New York City. While teaching, I pursued a Masters in Special Education from Lehman College. I balanced teaching and going to school and graduated magna cum laude. I then taught several years as a kindergarten teacher, as well as several years as a first and second grade teacher in a multi-age classroom. I have taught as a general education teacher and a special education teacher. I am currently teaching in an elementary school in the Lower East Side. I am an instructor in a third and fourth grade classroom, instructing students in-person, as well as remotely. I am also pursuing a second masters at NYU in the education department. I am passionate about meeting the different needs of all of my students. The best part about educating is seeing the progress made by students and watching their confidence grow. One-on-one tutoring allows for your student to learn and achieve their goals at their own pace. I cannot wait to begin working with your family!
