Hi, I’m Jimmy Sivongsay! I graduated from UC Davis with bachelor’s degree in psychology, and a minor in education. I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree to become a licensed therapist. I’ve been working in education for the past 7 years and I started off as a 1:1 Aide, working in a high school setting with students who had moderate to severe disabilities. It was from this experience that I fell in love with being inside of a classroom. I’ve been teaching for the past 5 years, and currently I teach virtually, roving between kindergarten through 7th grade. The greatest joy that I get from teaching is passing on my enthusiasm for learning and staying thirsty for knowledge. I'm also currently tutoring a 2nd grade student in-person, supporting him in ELA and math.
