Hello! My name is Ms. Jodi and I am a passionate elementary educator excited to help your child succeed in an online setting. I have been teaching in an elementary classroom for over 10 years and am a certified teacher. Through my experience, I have developed a wide array of skills used to tailor instruction to individual student needs and believe every learner is unique with strengths to build upon. Along with distinctive skills, I have been trained extensively in reading and writing areas, including the science of reading, phonics, and comprehension. Learning is about connections...to our world and to each other. Exploration should take place at every corner and every lesson, while learners feel welcomed and nurtured to reach their potential and more importantly....enjoy the process. Lastly, I always believe a little magic is involved in every moment of learning. It is the true job of a teacher to create the magical mix of tools a student needs in that moment to be successful.
