My name is Joy Pickering, and I love working with families and students to help them achieve their academic goals. I have spent over 30 years in education working with teachers and students from Kindergarten all the way through high school. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education along with a Master's degree in Educational Technology. I am also ESL certified. My strengths as a tutor are elementary reading, math, science, social studies, and test prep. At the junior high and high school level, I am able to tutor Spanish I, reading, writing, and history.
