Hi, my name is Julie, and I’m thrilled to begin this learning journey with you! With 35 years of teaching experience, I’ve taught grades 1-6, gifted education in grades K-6, and special education in grades 2-4. I hold a B.A. in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and an endorsement in Gifted Education. Additionally, I’m trained as a math specialist, in the LETRS Reading program, and STEM-Lego Robotics. These qualifications have equipped me with various teaching strategies to ensure effective and engaging learning experiences. In my online teaching, I aim to make learning enjoyable and effective by incorporating interactive games, a reward system, and a light sense of humor.
