Hi! I’m a social worker and volunteer tutor. My experience with education and in schools has been varied from advocating for children facing expulsion in Detroit to serving as a middle school tutor in East Harlem for several years to managing teacher evaluations in the Bronx. My background as a social worker helps me connect with young people and understand what motivates them, what’s blocking them, and how we can make learning as accessible as possible. These days, I oversee an HR department for an immigration services non-profit, and I serve as a middle school tutor in the Bronx.
