Bio
I have over 20 years of experience in K-12 public schools serving as classroom teacher, curriculum writer, assistant principal, and Director of Literacy. Additionally, I am an adjunct professor teaching both in the Education Department and Humanities Department at Bryn Athyn College. My passion is to support students in acquiring strong foundational and adolescent literacy skills so that they may succeed in their academic and future professional careers. I hold a B.A. in Sociology from William Paterson University, an M.S. in Elementary Education, Reading Specialist concentration from Saint Joseph’s University, and an Ed.D. in Teacher Leadership from Walden University. I am certified K-6 Elementary Education, 7-9 English Language Arts, and I am currently pursuing my ESL Specialist Certification.
