Hi There! My name is Kelly and I am in my 13th year of teaching for the New York City Department of Education. I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade. I am currently working as a special education teacher, and I have vast experience working with students with special needs. The majority of my special education experience lies in working with students with mild learning disabilities and executive function needs. I work in a regular classroom with a general education co-teacher and support all students in the classroom. In addition to my Special Education teaching certificate, I also hold certificates in General Education and Literacy. Some of my personal hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my family and friends. I strongly believe in developing relationships with the students I teach. If we work together, your child will gain not only a tutor, but also a friend!
