I am a current 1st grade teacher at an independent school in the NYC area. I am NYS certified in Childhood Education (grades 1-6) as well as Students with Disabilities (grades 1-6). I graduated for the Inclusive Elementary and Special Education program in 2020 from Syracuse University, and the Literacy Specialist program for Teachers College, Columbia University, in 2021. I believe that all students should be viewed and valued as meaningful participants and contributors within the classroom. This said, I am passionate about creating and delivering instruction works to foster the inclusion of a diverse range of learners. I use a deep understanding of who my students are to tailor my instruction to fit their diverse needs.
