Hi! My name is Kembly and I'd love to tell you a little about why I think I'd be a great match for your family! I have over 12 years experience caring for children ranging from newborns to preteens. My educational background includes an Associates in Early Childhood Ed, and Bachelor's of Science Childhood Education in grades 1-6. I have also attended Stonybrook University's Bilingual Extension Program. I have been professionally employed at 2 local school districts, as well as a preschool. Currently I am in the process of submitting my requisites to be NYS Teacher Certified. Besides my professional and academic experience in working with children, I have a 7year-old daughter who has really made my experience working with children come full circle. Being a mother has heightened the bar in my performance as an educator and caregiver as I know how difficult it can be to leave your child, and I want parents to know and feel their child is in good hands. The combination of my childcare experience, educational background, and my role as a mother has given me a unique perspective when it comes to working with children and families and it is always my goal to help nurture, teach and care for kids as I would want someone to treat my own child. I believe that trust is fundamental when leaving your children with someone, and it is with great confidence that I can say I have provided that for all my prior families.
