Kim Jones lives in Mississippi and has 30 years of experience working in public schools. Currently, she is an elementary school librarian in Memphis Shelby County Schools and a member of the NEA Blended Learning Leadership Team. In previous school years, Kim has taught middle school social studies and has been a middle/high school librarian. Kim has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary School Education with minors in Library Sciences and Social Studies from Harris Stowe State University. Kim has a master’s degree in Elementary School Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She is currently licensed to teach in Missouri and Tennessee. One of best things about being a librarian is introducing students to books and seeing them enjoy becoming life -long readers.
