Hello! I have been teaching elementary for the past 12 years. Currently, I am in my seventh year of teaching 2nd grade and previously taught 4th grade for five years. My passion is teaching phonics, reading, and spelling utilizing structured literacy and hands-on engagement strategies. I love teaching and I love getting to know each of my students, watching their confidence soar, and seeing them grow as unique individual learners! I have two sweet sons. Mason is 7 and Jake is 3. My husband is also a teacher! He teaches Physical Education and we teach in the same school. I can't wait to meet my new learners!
