Bio
Hi my name is Kristine and I am excited to start this learning journey with you! I have been teaching for 12 years and have loved every minute of it. I have taught Kindergarten through 5th grade in subjects such as Math and English Language Arts. My teaching experience has been primarily in Las Vegas, NV and I hold a Master of Arts in Education with a major in Special Education.
In addition to my teaching license, I also have a passion for learning and am fluent in Tagalog. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging for learners, especially in an online setting. To make online learning enjoyable, I incorporate games and interactive activities. I also try to engage learners' senses as much as possible to keep their attention.
Effective online learning is a priority for me. To ensure that learners are getting the most out of their education, I actively engage with course materials and have a plan for troubleshooting any technology issues. Outside of teaching, I enjoy hiking and playing tennis. These interests have taught me the importance of self-care and how it can positively impact my teaching style and methodology. I am excited to share my love for learning and my teaching expertise with your child.
