Hi my name is Kurt. I live in New Port Richey, Florida. I have been teaching for 15 years and tutoring virtually for the past five years. I have experience teaching in the classroom with class sizes up to 50 students and teaching one-on-one. I have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University in Irvine California.. A bachelor's degree in science (Kinesiology) from the University of Massachusetts Boston and a teaching credential from California State University Long Beach. I taught for 10 years (High School) in South Central Los Angeles. Before that I taught for 5 years (K-8) in Laguna Beach California. I also taught a personal training course for 4 years in California with a focus on kinesiology. In my spare time I enjoy watching sports specifically baseball, football, hockey and basketball. I also enjoy exercising and going for hikes. I enjoy getting to know my students and their learning style. Each student learns differently and I enjoy learning how my students learn best!
