Bio
Hi everyone! I was born and raised in Great Neck, New York. I received my initial teaching certification in Secondary Mathematics in the TIME 2000 Mathematics Honors Program at CUNY Queens College. I also earned my Master’s Degree with a second teaching certification in Adolescent Special Education. I have been teaching middle school math for five years in the NYC DOE and also have experience tutoring a variety of subjects for students in Grades K-12. My special passion is in teaching math through my explicit, step-by-step, and multi-sensory approach. I have a strong skill on connecting well with students and clarify important foundational math concepts for them. I take great joy in watching my students gain confidence in their math skills and abilities. Moreover, I love helping my students succeed in the most effective and comfortable ways possible! Outside of teaching, I am a running enthusiast who has completed seven half marathons and two full marathons. I am a big believer that growth is key to living a full and healthy life!
