My name is Lakisha Barnette, and I am a graduate of Mercy College. I have my Master's degree with a Single Certification in Early Childhood Birth to 2nd grade. My goal as a teacher is to promote learning and growth amongst my students. I aim to push my students to persevere and to be a part of their learning process. I am continuing to grow as a teacher, and I am confident that I would make a difference in students' lives as I use my many skill sets to support my students as I also ensure that my teaching practices will impact each student.
